Why I’m bound to achieve more before tenure ends, Ajimobi

•    As he is crowned 4th Aare of Ibadan
GOVERNOR Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has assured of the accomplishment of more landmark achievements before the expiration of his second term in office.
Ajimobi speaking after being crowned as Aare of Ibadan land by Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, on Friday, said this was imperative for him not to disappoint the trust of Oyo citizens and so as to confidently live in the state after his term in office.
He specially appreciated the Ibadan elders for the Aare title and his emergence as governor.
Ajimobi also acknowledged title of Yeye Aare of Ibadan land bestowed on his wife, Mrs Florence Ajimobi.
The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji said the title was conferred on Ajimobi and wife in recognition of his good character and exemplary leadership attributes.
Ajimobi becomes the fourth Aare of Ibadan land after Bishop A. B. Akinyele, Emmanuel Alayande and Arisekola Alao.
Among guests at the event held at the Olubadan palace were members of Ibadan council of chiefs, present and former politicians, friends and well wishers
